Central San Diego Black Chamber of Commerce Opens Application Period for Scholarship and Leadership
Once again, it is time to start submitting applications for the Central San Diego Black Chamber of Commerce (CSDBCC) Scholarship and Leadership Award Program.
Beyond financial support the CSDBCC, had decided to give more. In the spirit of teaching future leaders to fish rather than just giving them fish, the scholarship and leadership award program has added content.
After providing financial awards for several students, a desire was born to give more to these young achievers help them on their way.
The leadership development component will offer our awardees the opportunity to benefit from the knowledge and experience of local entrepreneurs and business professionals.
We are excited to open the selection process and encourage graduating seniors to access, complete, and return the 2018 application by September 14th, 2018.
Scholarship applications will be reviewed and finalists will be invited to interview with the selection committee. Finalists will be notified of the selection committee results by the first week in October.
Recipients will be expected to attend the 8th Annual Central San Diego Black Chamber of Commerce Gala, the evening of November 17th at the U.S. Grant Hotel in downtown San Diego as well as participate in a leadership development activity in Spring 2020.
